Good morning dear members?
I bring Calvary greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm writing with reference to Papa Chebeti's request for old CU members to get involved into CU current affairs. Indeed, it has been a big concern to many of us, a challenge that we ought to resolve. We can't deny the fact that CU mentored us and fathered us during those days. Actually it's unfortunate that we have forgotten so easily the role CU fostered into us and the challenges we left behind; somehow accusing old members for not supporting the fellowship then.

Today, we are now old members and we are doing the same thing we thought we would change for the better of the fellowship.

Anyhow, in brief; the fellowship needs us like never before. The children yarn for our presence, knowledge and communion just like we also desired.

Fortunately, a few of you I have raised regarding supporting CU, you have all acknowledged the need to be part though non of us has strategicly intervened. *Point is, for how long shall we keep promising ourselves?*

Well, with regards to the above subject matter, we are arranging a visit to the fellowship has old members on *Saturday 19th January* (about 2 weeks from now). We intend to have a dinner with the children and share a few memories with them regarding our service. The dinner will start at 3:00pm to 7:00pm: then prepare for Sunday service.

I encourage all of you to attend especially old members. This is another great moment to encourage the church at UPU. confirmed members are; Papa Asaba Aggrey, Mama Ritah Banurah, Papa Isaac Frank, and Mama Racheal Asemeza. Please feel free to add yourself on the list.

During the dinner, old members will discuss issues of involvement into CU ministry; strategies will be communicated here for further discussion. For now, preparations are still going on and ideas welcomed.

🕎the PEACE that God gives.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] AMP.

You have heard of the so called world peace day, peace and unity,peace and security, ABCD...

Now all these,so many agencies by the way, are trying to forge Peace, and their definition of peace is the absence of war.which definition is an understatement, think about it. This kind of understanding is carnal and superficial, one tries to draw his peace from the surrounding, when everything around them is calm they think that is peace.

Well, this is the world's way of thinking. But the way of the SPIRIT, is different, it is peace in the inside first, then the outside can experience the calm, hallelujah!.

He says, first, it is your duty to be at peace, to determine whether it's calmness or turbulence, Yes! don't allow, intimidation, fear, turbulence, doubt and unsettlement in your inside. Feed and Fill your inner man with the word of Christ,that good news must sink amen.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Most often the thing we ask for with urgency, that stressing thing to go, doesn't come immediately, rather it is peace, that God sends to us. Lest we be worried and weary.. hallelujah!..

🕎Intimacy with God.
(Three dimensions)

Psalms 55:13-14 But it was you, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend. We had sweet fellowship together and used to walk to the house of God in company. Amp.

This is a skilful song, a Prophetic poem of DAVID for all round protection.

There are levels of friendships, fellowships , business associations or family togetherness that brings a man's life in order. Matter of fact, reading (Ephesians 3:16-19) The word ginosko in Greek translates majorly for the Revelational knowledge used here, but most specifically goes for the word intimacy.

To God intimacy comes with these privileges, these three dimensions.

1️⃣Knowing God as a companion, one who is with you always, which is very important aspect of living, especially if you're to remain forecast. he gives me company,my encourager and advocate hallelujah!

2️⃣God is your equal, not in the sense of competition to challenge his integrity and balance of nature and Power, of who he is, God almighty NO! NO! ... but this is to mean You being his seed, carrying his DNA and nature, so that if we look at you we'll surely say , God is made manifest, and he is with us~immanuel.

Psalms 82:6 "I, the Most High God, say that all of you are gods and also my own children. CEV.

(Read John 1:1-14, 1peter 1:23-25, James 1:18, Romans 8:28-30)

3️⃣He is our friend. We know his business and do his commandments.

John 15:14-15 You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

This is the fellowship of the saints, that they know how to walk with the lord and in the SPIRIT. Glory to God.!

Behold now, he is your companion and friend, he'll never leave you, he is your equal, his blood runs through you, nothing he does can you fail to see

Ministers I see if people could only focus on the cross then ministry will boom the more and what we see as being hardest could be the easiest like what the bible says things that are impossible the one with much faith will be possible.

*Nagging Is A Spoiler of Relationships*
Vs.15&16 aptly describe someone who nags those around him/her as a painful nuisance. People who nag display a spirit of, "I know what I am saying" as well as fear that they are not being heard. They have an unwelcome teaching spirit that really drives you mad and saps your peace of mind. Look at the way you deal with your spouse, children, friends and workmates. Do these loved ones see you as someone who nags? If you nag, confess and take on good friends who will help you.

We are greatly made sharper and better people if we keep good company (vs.17). Regular discussions with good people develop one's character positively. We all benefit from our associations with

_Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth._

*ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES*

Many people want to blame God for what is going on in their lives. Sometimes we spend many hours in prayer yet most times what we are praying for should be received by principle if we know and do what the Word says concerning these things. For example, a man can be praying to God to heal them and they wait for a long time thinking that God is not interested in healing them yet the Bible tells us that by His stripes we were healed. It already happened and all you need to do is believe.

Our theme scripture carries the words of Jesus after a man asked Him if He could do anything to help. Jesus' response to this man was to tell Him that there was no question of whether He had the ability to heal or to change or to do whatever a man would want. He is God and those are small things to Him. The question was really about the man. Could He believe that God was able to do it? That is the question today, do you believe?

The words Jesus Christ used were quite extravagant. He said All Things are possible to Him who believes. He placed no limits to what He can do if a man believes it. The only problem we have today is that people are not crazy in their faith. They only believe God for the *next meal, the next 2,000 shillings, the next semesters tuition.* What is the problem here? It is as though we underestimate His ability and willingness to do these things. We are asking the Lord if He can do anything. Well, the answer is simple. All things are possible to Him who believes. Do not limit God, believe for great things and you will see them in your life, believe for the best things, believe for the biggest things because all things are yours. Look at it this way. God has made you a joint heir with Christ. All things that are His are yours. You are not drawing from a

_Galatians 2:20 I have a been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me._

The guy who died on cross was not Christ, as we all know that Christ was God himself incarnate, and God cannot die, it was you and I, the old man adam that was crusified.
While the human being, the old man Adam was on the cross,( the old you and I was being destroyed on the cross), Christ was already in hell, disarming the powers of darkness and leading captivity captive.

Hebrews 2:14 says, Because God's children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.
That means that Jesus took on the human life and ended it on the cross and the God kind life was imparted into your spirit. And what was susceptible to sickness, poverty, depression, stress, death etc was destroyed, so that the brand new God kind of life that knows no sickeness, failure, poverty etc could control whatever you do. Now that you are born again, you have the life of God in you.

This life permeates every cell of my blood and it makes me impermeable to any form of disease and all manner of sickness. and anything inconsistent with your will for my life. In Jesus' Name Amen.

Sundays devotion

Romans 8:26
Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.
Romans 8:27
He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God.

Vs29, God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.

Romans 8:32
If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?

Romans 8:38
I'm absolutely convinced that nothing--nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow,

high or low, thinkable or unthinkable--absolutely [nothing] can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.
