This is to inform you that Assoc. Prof. Julius Mwine, Principal Investigator (ACALISE Project) of the Faculty of Agriculture has passed on. Assoc. Prof. Mwine has been in the service of UMU since 2002. We keep his family in prayers and thoughts. May his soul rest in eternal peace. More information will be communicated soon.

Dear Students,

Following the requests and concerns of some Faculties and Students regarding the completion of Semester One 2020/2021 Course Outlines and submission of Course works, the Roadmap dates (as attached) have been revised. Therefore, the end of First Semester Final Assessment Examinations shall commence on 8th until 19th February, 2021.


Please inform all your colleagues about the new development and encourage them to complete and submit their Course works before the indicated date. This will give you enough time to prepare for the Final Assessments. I thank you.


You are reminded to observe the SOPs and please keep safe from COVID-19. Your lives are so much valued.

2019 Pepsi Uganda University Football League

Quarter - Finals (1st Leg)

MUBS vs Uganda Martyrs
Wednesday 4th Spetember
Nakawa, 3pm

The knockout stage of the Pepsi University Football League gets underway tomorrow Wednesday 4th September with Makerere University Business School hosting Uganda Martyrs University for the 1st leg of their quarter final tie at Nakawa at 3pm.

The two sides last met in the 2017 final at Namboole which Uganda Martyrs won 2-0 to lift the trophy for their first time.

Prior to that the two sides met in the 2015 Final which MUBS won 4-0 to lift the trophy for their second time.

Death has robbed us again.
We announce the untimely and shocking death of Walugembe Raphael, a third year student of Bachelor of Business Administration and Management and a former Secretary for Finance in Students' Union 2018-2019 Lubaga Campus. He was a victim of a gunshot of 14/5/2019. Raphael will be laid to rest tomorrow 16/5/2019 at their home in Maya along Kampala-Masaka high way. More details will come.
May his Soul Rest in eternal peace.
