Ukraine inflicted critical damage on the Novoshakhtinsk oil loading terminal in Russia’s Rostov region.

At least 8 of the 12 fuel tanks were seriously damaged in the Ukrainian attack. Each tank holds 5,000 cubic meters of oil products.

A second Yandex data center has been hit, this time in Kaluga. Yandex confirmed that a UAV attack damaged part of the facility, completely disabling several data center modules. The company warned that some Yandex services may experience disruptions. Russian air defenses were reportedly active around the facility throughout the night. Local authorities said 26 drones were destroyed over Kaluga and surrounding districts.

The United Kingdom is preparing to offer an explicit nuclear security guarantee to nine Northern European allies, potentially extending Britain’s nuclear deterrent across the entire Joint Expeditionary Force region, according to Finnish newspaper Iltalehti.

The proposed arrangement would cover Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, alongside the United Kingdom. An agreement is expected to be signed in November and would strengthen the role of Britain’s nuclear arsenal in protecting JEF members.

If finalized as described, the agreement would add another layer of nuclear deterrence for Northern Europe alongside existing NATO arrangements. The move would be especially significant for the Nordic and Baltic states, placing Britain’s nuclear capabilities more explicitly within the security framework of the JEF.

Last week Yemen declared general mobilization against the Houthis

Yemen’s internationally recognized parliament declared a general mobilization to fight the Houthis. Lawmakers said that the country is facing a threat to people’s lives, property, and security.

The House of Representatives also thanked the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia for its support.

The mobilization was announced after the Houthis made military gains in the west of the country. In September, they captured the city of Mocha and established control over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, through which an important maritime trade route between the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden passes.

The Houthis have controlled Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, since 2014.
