Vienna College Namugongo Vienna College, Namugongo, is a private co-education institution, it opened its doors to international students early in January 2000.

It rapidly established itself as a haven for senior students from Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Europe, the United States and of course, its home setting-Uganda. Vienna College is a home to over four hundred students, most of whom reside on the extensive campus. The focus for their academic education is preparation and participation in the UNEB 'O' level and 'A' level examination programmes. V

ienna College is a Cambridge International (CIE) Centre UG0010 offering I.G.C.S.E and G.C.E "A-level" Courses. Currently, Vienna College is the largest C.I.E Centre in Uganda basing on the enrollment and candidates entered for I.G.C.S.E and "A" Level Examinations for November 2007.

A proud moment for Vienna College Namugongo as they dominated the recent World Scholars Cup Kampala Round hosted at Acorns Lubowa, delivering truly stellar performances.

Special recognition to Benita Sprytny Mugumya, who emerged as Champion Scholar, and Sserugo Jesse Dean, who secured an impressive third place, alongside many other outstanding performers who made the school shine.

The World Scholars Cup continues to be a stage where great minds meet, challenge themselves, and compete for top honors among exceptional learners from across schools and around the world.

Proud moments of leadership, intellect, and global perspective

Vienna College was honored to be part of the ISU Model United Nations (UGMUN) held on 26th March 2026, where students from leading international and national schools came together to simulate real United Nations proceedings.
From powerful debates on climate change, youth challenges, human rights, indigenous communities, to discussions around the African Union, our delegates showcased confidence, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of global issues.

A special congratulations to Awio-Elem Phaedra Kiara Chloe on being voted Best Emerging Delegate, Kiggundu Abdulrahman Suleiman for presenting an outstanding resolution in the AOIS committee, and Kyomuhendo Noella Paula Joan for her remarkable role as Chair in the UNHCR committee.

Kudos to the entire organizing team, the MUN Club leaders, and Mr. Odeke George for creating such a dynamic platform for growth, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue.

We were delighted to host our first-ever Mathematics Competition at Vienna College Namugongo, where students enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging exercises and problem-solving tasks. The competition challenged their analytical skills, creativity, and love for numbers, ultimately leading to the selection of our outstanding top performers.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mathematics Department for organizing such an inspiring and engaging event that encourages academic excellence and nurtures young minds.
