The Institute of Procurement Professionals of Uganda (IPPU) in partnership with MS Inspire International is organising a five day training course on Contract Negotiation (SC/05/20), December 7th – 11th, 2020 in Hoima, Uganda.
It is against this background that IPPU in partnership with MS Inspire International is organising a five day training course to empower various officials in the supply chain on the above mentioned thematic area SC/05/20.

Course Description

Participants should have knowledge of the critical points and issues in any domestic or international contract. They should be able to analyse a project before contracting, be able to identify the project’s vulnerability points, and be able to conduct any domestic or international negotiations. The participants leave this training with practical skills intended to assist them in preparation for and taking a lead role in negotiating contracts and further exposes them to current international best practices applicable to this area of practice. The core of the training is preparations, contract planning, principles, and the techniques and tactics necessary for successful negotiations and post-negotiation dynamics of efficient contract implementation. In other words, this training develops practical skills to effectively analyze and negotiate contracts.
