I hope yo re not revoking the powers of court. The impunity to compromise judiciary must stop! The President heads the executive arm and not judiciary, though he has power to appoint judges through Judicial service commission. Quote which article says security agencies should defy court order. Which law says this? Judiciary is a stand alone; it's service is of general interest. As a credible Institution, it must deliver in public interest. Judges must hold office in public trust and in the exercise of their duty they must be independent! Just like NAADS, there could be plan to militarize judicial arm, and electoral commission ahead of next elections...

Then KCCA is problematic! Attempt to ban unregistered boda bodas in one month is unrealistic given the economic hardship. Most of those boda bodas are on pressure for loans. Secondly, to register all boda bodas within such a period is gravely unfair! I hope KCCA is not creating more jobs for men in uniform to extort money in the exercise of their duty. Otherwise, am not surprised KCC is green about the actual number to register. If so, how then did they arrive at the number, and the duration to register all?? How am I even convinced that u hv registered 60% within one month??? KCCA is an agency of govt, as it intends to widen tax base, the decision to extend the registration period to allow boda bodas fully participate in the exercise is within the bound of possibility..

Let government decentralize to regional cities to accomodate more learners; allow access to by any qualified individuals. Not only law students, we need a certificate in Administrative Law, etc. If we don't expand facilities who then will do so? What re our priorities as parliament, and as a line ministry??? The problem is not money, instead planning for the resources and its use, that itself burdensome..!! However, we shall not relent; keep pumping brains to our MPs who re good at robbing taxpayers, and re merely diverted by festivals...

We have 12 universities that are producing law students. These universities have about a thousand students each and all of them are supposed to go to LDC but LDC’s capacity is only 1500 right now - Pheona Wall, President of the Uganda Law Society
