Think Big. Start Small. Stand Out.

At the FAWE Extended Orientation Programme, Prof. Charles Tushabomwe Kazooba challenged students to look beyond university life and begin developing an entrepreneurial mindset early.

His message was clear: “Entrepreneurs move two steps, reach further.” He encouraged students to invest wisely, avoid making decisions out of excitement, visualise success, expand strategically, and develop a lasting passion for learning.

He urged students to imagine themselves in a large crowd and then ask: What will make you stand out?

From starting small to investing wisely, learning continuously and pursuing growth, the message was simple: build today with tomorrow in mind.

EQUATOR UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY hosted a delegation from the Makerere University Muslim Students’ Association (MUMSA) on Friday, 11 September 2026, for an engaging exchange on leadership, partnerships, networking and student development.

The visit, led by the MUMSA Chairman, provided an opportunity to connect with our Vice Chancellor Prof. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo and the EQUSaT community, while strengthening relationships across higher education institutions.

EQUSaT was represented by our Vice Chancellor, Prof. M. Mpezamihigo, in discussions focused on strengthening higher education and shaping the future of the sector in Uganda.
