Hon. Ssempala Kigozi serves on the Resources Mobilisation Committee of Council.

Mr. Roland Ssebuufu is the CEO of Buganda Kingdom's Holdings that is Buganda Investments and Commercial Undertakings Limited.
Mr Ssebuufu went to Makerere University and Galilee College in Israel.
He brings with him substantial Finance experience and knowledge to the University's Governing Body.

Mr. William Mawejje is the Chairperson of the Finance and Planning Committee of Council.

Mr. Mawejje is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Brac Bank Uganda. He boasts of over 25 years of Banking sector expertise.
Mr Mawejje holds a Bachelor's of Computing(Statistics) from Makerere University and a Masters in Financial Services.

Dr. Yusuf Khalid Nsubuga is a member of the University Governing Council and Chairs the Students' Affairs Committee of Council.

He holds a Masters in Education Planning and Management from Makerere University and a PhD in Education Leadership from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa.
Dr. Nsubuga is formerly a member of UNEB, once chaired the Governing Council of Uganda National Curriculum Development Centre, is a former Commissioner for Secondary Education in the Ministry of Education and has of recent been a member of the Education Policy Review Commission.
Dr Nsubuga is an accomplished Researcher with several works and publications to his name.

Assoc. Prof. Umar Ahmed Mukasa Kasule is the University's Deputy Vice Chancellor.

He has a PhD in Islamic Culture and Civilisation and has published papers like "Umar bin al-Khatab's Contribution to Early Islamic Philosophy", Human Rights Universality vs Cultural Diversity: An Islamic Response, Institutional Autonomy and Academic Freedom of Universities: A Comparative Analysis of The Western and Islamic Traditions, Give to Ceasar what Belongs to Ceasar: The Question of Separation of Church and State, An Islamic Exposition.
Prof. Kasule is a true Islamic Scholar and was formerly at Islamic University in Uganda,Mbale.

Prof. Kasule currently plays the Secretarial role to the University Governing Council. We are proud to have Prof. Kasule as part of the steering team.
