Exciting news, Pacific County!

The Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) has approved a new Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C) Skills Practice Lab at Grays Harbor College's Riverview Education Center in Raymond.

Made possible through support from the Grays Harbor College Foundation, the lab gives students a dedicated space to build skills and prepare for certification while complementing clinical experiences at Willapa Harbor Care.

381 Chokers made the Spring 2026 President’s Honor List!

Earning a spot on the President's Honor List is an outstanding achievement. This special recognition is granted to students who complete at least 12 college-level credits while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Check out the full list here: https://www.ghc.edu/news/spring-2026-presidents-list

On Friday, GHC participated in the Stafford Creek Family Day for staff and families. The GHC booth featured the game Operation – inspired by the Nursing program – and the fan favorite fishing game!

Coming up! Flagger Certification training in Raymond on Friday, September 11, and in Aberdeen on Friday, October 2, 8 AM - 4 PM. In this one-day course, you'll get training on proper traffic control and work zone safety, and earn a certification valid for 3 years in WA, OR, ID, and MT. $125 includes materials, test, and certification card. To celebrate the completion of each 6-week CDL course, GHC hosts a combined hiring event and graduation ceremony at Satsop Business Park. These events give graduates the opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments, connect with regional employers, and interview for open positions.
