Some of our international and domestic students collaborated in an ACU Event, FilmFest! In this event, ACU students work together to create a short film that is under 10 minutes. This group created the film 'Fever,' and won the best sound design award!!!

Two weeks ago was ACU's homecoming weekend. Many of our international students were able to participate in many activities throughout the event. Some carried their national flags during the homecoming parade, while many others flocked to watch the theater department's superb "Les Misérables" musical production at the Abilene Civic Center. What a tremendously fun weekend!

Two weeks ago, the International Students' Association (ISA) hosted a get-together party in the library. This "cultural mixer" had the purpose of fostering close fellowship between our international students and their American counterparts, besides entertaining and encouraging them after a busy and tiring battle with mid-terms. This time, the event boasted of many desserts from all around the world -- a delight to many of our sweet-toothed friends.

Last month, many of our students from both America and overseas came to celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival here at the Williams Performing Arts Center. The event was complete with authentic Chinese food along with the signature moon cakes.

On the 27th of September, The Hispanic Students' Association Hispanos Unidos hosted a Latin American cultural event to expose local and international students to the cultures and cuisine of South America. What a real treat to all who attended!

Two weekends ago, our International Students' Association hosted the annual ACU International Food Festival. Featuring cuisines from every continent of the world, students from both the US and outside America were able to savor the cultural and culinary diversity without paying for them through the nose.

Susan and Art Green have been welcoming international students into their home on every Friday during the school semester for many years. They prepare lots of yummy home-cooked food to entertain more than fifty students from all over the world, who frequent their humble abode on Fridays. Their hospitality is truly remarkable! Thank you for your love and service to the international students, Susan and Art!

Susan and Art Green, local residents of Abilene, open their house every Friday evenings to international students. They prepare many home-made delicacies from the home countries of these students and welcome them into their home. Their hospitality and service are truly a testimony of Christ's love to everyone.
