💬 Artist Statement:
I’ve always had a passion for art, I feel it’s the best way for me to express myself. As an artist, I try to convey hidden meaning in some of my work to leave it up to interpretation of the viewer. As a future teacher, I strive to show my students that anyone can create art as long as it’s something they love.

💬 Artist Statement:
I primarily work with acrylics and oils, focusing on realism to bring out the true essence of my subjects. While landscapes are my main focus, I also venture into portraits and love exploring other subjects. My landscape paintings are a reflection of the beauty I find in nature. Through my work, I aim to capture the awe and gratitude I feel, reflecting on the greatness and power of God. My art is always grounded in realism, aiming to convey genuine experiences and emotions. Each piece is inspired by specific moments and places that hold deep meaning for me, inviting viewers to connect with these experiences.

💬 Artist Statement: My art is inspired by my life verse, Philippians 4:13 from the bible. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I get all my strengths from God viewed through the art I make. My focus has been overscaled art sculptures, mostly made of wood. I love to make other art as well such as resin, paintings. I find peace in the crazy world we live in when I am engaged in a project. My work consists of life experiences that I have gone through or someone in my family has gone through.

My name is Augusta Bolton.
I’m a Senior, I’m a double major in studio art and business administration.
I’m from Fredericksburg, Texas.
