Superior Mobile Health is hiring EMT's and Paramedics!

Congratulations to our two latest Paramedic grads, Bryan Bu and Christian Ruegg. We are so very proud of you both and wish you luck on your NREMT exams!

Received this potential job opportunity for Paramedics today.

"Our hospital system in south central upstate NY is starting a mobile integrated health program and hoping to bring some fresh new talent to the area. These positions are 24 and 36 hours per week, so opportunities also exist to supplement this position with work within our local 911 system.

The positions at 24 or 36 hours per week are benefits eligible and benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 403B with contribution, and generous tuition reimbursement. Our community has an affordable cost of living, a top nationally ranked research university, and a thriving restaurant and craft beer scene.

Please share with any of your students or colleagues who may be interested in relocating for a unique opportunity. My belief is that MIH combined with 911 is valuable for skills development early in a paramedic’s career as the role and fiction for EMS continues to evolve. We will be starting interviews within the next week or two.

I’m available to answer questions and appreciate any help you can provide!

Michele Bracken, from our Paramedic program, just sent us this! Thank you, Michele!

"I just accepted a full time position with a rural agency in central Utah. My scope of practice is large enough that I can use a variety of the Paramedic skills I've learned through Percom as an Advanced EMT.

Today I was the team leader on a full cardiac arrest. We shocked the patient 5 times pushed multiple rounds of drugs and quickly established an airway. It was the first time I have run a code and felt completely confident in what I was looking for and what needed to be done. I've not even done my internship yet and feel confident in my knowledge and skills. I cannot say enough great things about the training I've received as a PERCOM student.

Please send my gratitude to Cody Bell and Michael as well. They did a great job in prepping my skills for the real world!"

Congratulations to Paramedic Graduate, Dusty Benthall!! Good luck on the NREMT and your future as a Paramedic!!

Wow, thank you, Levi Hickey, for the wonderful email patting Sherri Carson and Tammy Williams on the back. They so rarely hear from students regarding all the hard work they put in on their behalf behind the scenes. Many do not realize just how difficult their jobs can be and how hard they work to try and meet as many needs and reasonably possible and that are within our policies and abilities.

"During my time in your program I ran across 2 people who I feel do not get the credit or praise they deserve from students.

Mrs. Sherri- Mrs. Sherri was always willing to answer any questions I may have had and if she did not know the answer she would either point me in the right direction or go find out the answer and get back with me. There is one time that absolutely speaks to the kind and caring individual that Mrs. Sherri is! I was on my P1 clinicals and I was on shift the next day with a clinical rotation the following day. My wife had washed my laundry and forgot to remove a pen from my pocket. I only had 1 PERCOM Shirt and it was ruined. I called Mrs. Sherri to see what I could do about ordering another one and how long it would take. Mrs. Sherri went above and beyond. She stated that she was needing to come to Weatherford to do some returns and some shopping and that she would bring it to me the next day. This was appreciated more than I can say as you are well aware of the struggle that Clinicals have been during the COVID pandemic.

Mrs. Williams- Mrs Williams was willing to work with me throughout my entire clinical rotation. I can imagine that the usual deadlines became only more frustrating with clinical sites shutting down and not allowing students in. She was always willing to change a clinical or help me figure out what I still needed to complete clinicals. She never seemed frustrated and was more than willing to adapt and overcome any clinical obstacle that I may have run into. She was always kind and more than willing to expedite a process if need be in order for me to accomplish my clinical goal.

Both of these women made it possible and took away loads of stress from me by being kind and helpful. They definitely deserve acknowledgement as i'm sure they have to deal with and hear the gripes and complaints more than the attaboys. If you would please pass on my thanks and appreciation it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you."

Congratulations,Levi Hickey - Paramedic Grad! Good luck on the NREMT and your future as a Paramedic!!

From Paramedic graduate Timothy Gamble below - thank you, Timothy!!

" I have to tell you, I am extremely pleased with the course from start to finish. Previously many years ago I attempted to take a paramedic class in southern California. The class was a couple of hours from my home at the time, was held in person 4 days a week and I worked full time 3 days a week. Ultimately the time, travel, and monetary commitment proved to be too much for me at that time. I was apprehensive about trying again, but having met Jerry in San Antonio during a skills test when you allowed me to challenge the EMT class back in 2014 or 2015 and having a fairly decent opinion of the program as a whole I gave it a shot, and I am glad I did. I cannot thank you enough!"

Congratulations, Paramedic Graduate Timothy Gamble!!! We hope you do well on NREMT and have a bright future as a Paramedic!

What a wonderful email we just received from Paramedic student, Christian Weber! Thanks, Christian!

"I cannot give you enough thanks for the way you are caring about us! I just talked to my Chief and he can't believe how much you guys care about your students, contrary to what we have seen from local colleges all over Colorado. You can be assured that you will get more students from us in the future."

Congratulations to Paramedic graduate Keith Becker!!! Good luck on the NREMT!!!

As many of you know, we are probably the only EMS Education Program out there that allows you the opportunity to apply for voluntary suspensions or one or more extensions to complete your program requirements for graduation. Our accrediting body, CAAHEP, is really big on what is called "retention and attrition", which we totally understand. However, when you do not complete your program within the designated overall deadline, you are counted as "attrition" not retention, even though you finish later on. We are REQUIRED to maintain a 70% retention rate but because of all of the times we grant extensions and suspensions to try and help students, we cannot maintain that rate and it is becoming an issue.

We are requesting that as many of you as possible send Jane an email at [email protected] outlining either that this is one of the reasons you chose our program (for flexibility because of life, family, job, or other personal reasons that preclude you from fitting into more traditionally structured education programs and being able to complete) and/or this has ALLOWED you to finish, as other schools have or would have dropped you out without allowing you to complete because of your needs for this flexibility. Please SIGN your email and put your class number in it or after your name (400C, 300E, etc.)

Other programs out there have even restricted access to students who may have issues that would preclude them from finishing their programs on time, denying them access, to help avoid these "attrition" issues. Others drop students out before the amount of the program completed or date for that class where they have to count the student as being enrolled in that program - the "drop" date. We don't do that either. So we are asking for YOUR help so that we have plenty of support to defend our numbers with CAAHEP and the "why" of those numbers. Our Advisory Council and Consortium have declared that we should keep this structure so that we can continue to help as many students as possible but unfortunately, it does cause issues regarding the square boxes in which programs are placed in regards to retaining accreditation. Thank you for your help.

If you have been having issues emailing us or have not heard back from an email you have sent anyone with a email address since Friday, August 14th, there was a server issue that transpired out of our control that also really messed up our email system. Many email messages bounced back to senders and in doing so apparently caused a block for some internet service providers. The ones we know about right now are,, and some other small ones. Things we are trying to send out to those sorts of emails are mostly bouncing back or maybe just going to internet heaven. This is possibly occurring with some incoming as well. We have been working with Google and with our hosting company for them to correct the issue but it could take another day. So if you are a student, this is the reason we have the Message system available on You can Message anyone in the company through that method. If you are a potential student or someone else that is trying to get in touch with us by email, we respectfully request that you hold off until maybe tomorrow and then try again to allow the internet to catch up with the latest tweaks made on our end. You can also assist us by checking your spam or trash and marking things again as not spam or trash and, if you have bounce back messages, forward them to your internet service provider and let them know we are NOT spamming you - we are a legitimate school that only emails those who are students or who have emailed us first. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you!
Please keep our Clinical Coordinator, Tammy Williams, in your thoughts and prayers. She is recovering from a heart attack she had over the weekend. She should be home very soon but will need good thoughts and lots of prayers while she recovers. Thank you!!
