Black History Month Film: "Remember the Titans"

In 1970s Virginia, a black school and a white school are closed, forcing the students to integrate. Herman Boone (Denzel Washington), the football coach at the black school, is chosen over white coach Bill Yoast (Will Patton) to lead the football team. Facing racism and tension from students and adults alike, Boone must prove himself and show that integration is a vital step in the journey to racial understanding.
