♟️ What an incredible turnout for our first campus chess tournament! ♟️

We had 30 players battle it out across the boards in the North Lounge on ECU's campus for a full day of rated competition. Huge thank you to ChessOKC for officiating an outstanding, professional event and helping us bring mind sports to life at East Central University.

Shoutout to all the students, local community members, and competitors who came out to showcase their strategic firepower. The energy in the room was phenomenal!

It is GREAT to have our Tigers back on campus. Today we completed early move in for our incoming students for Esports. It is awesome to have them all back in the labs practicing before the semester begins. Go Tigers!!

We are officially expanding our competitive horizons into Chess! ECU Esports is partnering with ChessOKC to host our very first on-campus officiated tournament.

When: Saturday, August 15th | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Where: ECU Campus, North Lounge

Cost: 100% FREE for ECU Students!

This is a huge event for both our campus and the local community. Whether you're a seasoned rated player or just love playing casual games in the lab, we want to see ECU represented on the leaderboard!

🐅🎮 WE ARE BACK! 🎮🐅

We were having an absolute blast with our campers earlier this summer, and we were so bummed when the city water issues cut our camp short. But you can't keep Tiger Esports down for long!

We are thrilled to announce that we have official approval to finish what we started. We are officially rescheduled and ready to welcome our campers back into the lab! 🚀

📅 New Camp Dates: Tuesday, July 28th – Thursday, July 30th

We can't wait to get back to creating, competing, and leveling up together! See you all in the lab soon! 🙌✨
