Bachelor of Music in Music Education--designed for the student with the ability, desire, and determination to become an outstanding music teacher. The program allows the ONU graduate to be licensed to teach instrumental, vocal and/or general music, Kindergarten through 12th grade, in the state of Ohio. 100% Placement rates as far as Arizona and North Carolina. Bachelor of Arts in Music with concentrations in: Performance Studies, Sound Recording Technology—designed for the student who has a deep passion for music and wants to study the field with a broad knowledge and understanding of music, its history, cultural impact, and its performance practices. Students pursuing this degree must complete one of the concentrations as well. Music faculty members possess national and international reputations as performers and scholars, and are all first and foremost dedicated teachers and devoted mentors.
