Our chapter had a wonderful time attending the in Baltimore, Maryland this past weekend! We were able to participate in the Community Impact activity, attended numerous sessions, and had two teams compete in Deloitte’s Best Practices competition. Our group was able to explore Baltimore, meeting up with alumni and even stopping by an Orioles game before we came back to Ohio! Looking forward to Mid-Year in Indianapolis next year!

The LAST meeting for the year will be TOMORROW NIGHT at 5PM in Dicke 230!! We will cater El Campo for Cinco De Mayo!! Please try your best to attend and if you cannot make it, let Professor Crowley or Ben Knight know. The agenda for the meeting is as follows: 1. Professor Newman will do a presentation on effective negotiation skills
2. Professor Crowley will distribute cords to graduating seniors
3. We will introduce the new exec board
4. The new President will do a brief presentation on what to expect for Meet the Firms next fall

We will be having a guest speaker, Scott Goodrich, TOMORROW NIGHT (Thursday 4/30), from 6:30-7:30PM!! Please make your BEST effort to attend. If you cannot attend, let Professor Crowley or Ben Knight know.
Scott Goodrich is a finance executive and fractional CFO with over 20 years of experience working with small and mid-sized businesses. As a principal at FocusCFO, he partners with companies to provide strategic financial leadership on a part-time basis. Throughout his career, he has served in roles such as CFO, controller, and general manager, gaining experience in industries including manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. His work focuses on helping organizations improve cash flow, make better financial decisions, and position themselves for long-term growth.

Meeting Thursday, 11/20, 6-7 PM in Dicke!! Room is TBD. Rylee Dundon will give a presentation over the OSCPA and Dr. Cadotte will share some insight on the new CPA licensing pathways and changes coming in 2026. We will end with a brief service activity before heading out for Thanksgiving break. This meeting will be a great way to learn about the CPA license and how it could be beneficial for your career. Let Mackenzie Southard know if you can’t attend!!
