Last Friday, ECU Education Department's I-Dream program hosted students for a professional development event, in partnership with the Chickasaw Nation Training Department.

The Bridges Out of Poverty simulation was a structured, interactive experience designed to help participants better understand and identify the challenges people in poverty encounter, while illuminating how access to resources shape the way we see the world.

Thank you all that participated and volunteered, along with a special thank you to the Chickasaw Nation for helping us hold this event!

TODAY is the last day to add 1st 8-week and 16-week courses, as well as the last day to drop 1st 8-week courses with a full refund.

The last day to drop 16-week courses with a full refund is Friday, August 28th.

Over the summer, the I-Dream program hosted two STEM camps for local area children ranging from 4th grade to 7th grade.

Our camps focused on the water cycle along with many other activities tied to STEM.
