Mu Rho Zeta Chapter Proudly Endorses Soror Adrienne McNeil for 15th Ohio State Director

The members of Mu Rho Zeta Chapter proudly endorse Soror Adrienne McNeil as she seeks to become the 15th Ohio State Director of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

For eight years, Soror McNeil has served our chapter as First Vice President and President, demonstrating what it means to lead with dedication, compassion, consistency, and a genuine love for our sisterhood.

We have witnessed her unwavering commitment to serving others, building meaningful relationships, and encouraging Sorors to recognize and develop their leadership potential. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to help others grow, and her impact is evident in the many Sorors she has inspired to step forward and embrace leadership opportunities.

Soror McNeil is a thoughtful and dependable leader who listens, follows through, and believes every Soror deserves to be heard, valued, and respected. She understands that leadership is not about titles or recognition; it is about doing the work, supporting others, and making decisions that advance the best interests of the sisterhood.

Her service as Ohio Graduate Representative and Chief of Staff to the Ohio State Director has further strengthened her experience and prepared her to serve Sorors throughout the state of Ohio.

We are not endorsing Soror McNeil simply because she is one of our own. We are endorsing her because we know her character, have experienced her leadership firsthand, and believe deeply in the vision, commitment, and strength she will bring to Ohio.

Mental Health is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our strength and resilience. World Mental Health Day is our way of recognizing and understanding that caring for our mental health and emotional well-being is just as crucial as our physical health.

Today, be intentional about checking on your loved ones - including your friends.

There’s not a certain ‘look’ - Just be kind. Encourage open conversations. Lend a listening ear, offer a hug or give someone a word of support, as they may be struggling in silence.

As we all know, bullying is a major problem. It has no boundaries - mentally, physically or geographically! No matter your experiences, we all know someone that has either been bullied or been the victim of a bully - or maybe you were the bully...

How can we fix it, if we don’t address it? Prevention starts with us!

Today, we are seeing more with words wielded as weapons for defamation, online trolling, and even different forms of manipulative bullying through hazing.

This goes beyond school-aged children. It’s on a collegiate level, in the workplace, in the church, your local women’s group, or it could be amongst your group of friends.

Bullying remains largely understated and unaddressed. Turning a blind eye only fortifies a woman’s self-censorship and erodes their self-esteem. We must do better. It’s our responsibility.

So today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. invites you to wear your orange, and join us in rallying for and addressing bullying to draw attention to this issue within your own communities. Together we can make a change - because everyone has a role to play in bullying prevention!
