Last week members of the UPD/CEHC drone team attended an Assured Safe UAS course hosted by faculty from the Kansas State’s Aviation Research Lab. This course is designed for public safety drone pilots and centered around data analytics, emergency management and GIS mapping. Training together sets the stage for our University’s joint drone team to fly safe and successful missions.
