Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities President Lola Brabham shared what inspires her at the City and State NY 2022 #AboveAndBeyond red carpet event.
For nearly 50 years, hundreds of thousands of students have relied on TAP to help make college more affordable. The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is the centerpiece of New York State’s student aid program.
This year, the Legislature and Governor Kathy Hochul have proposed investments in TAP that would be transformational for students and families across the state.
Students need help and these proposed investments in TAP would provide it. TAP funding goes directly to the students who need it most. It is the fastest and most equitable way to help the New York State college students who need the state’s support.
But don’t take our word on it; listen to what Justice, a single mom, cancer survivor, college student who works full-time, has to say about how important TAP is to her college dreams.
