Meet Aya, a doctoral student in our Educational Theory and Practice department.
Aya Isaac is a doctoral candidate in Curriculum & Instruction at the University at Albany whose work bridges research, leadership, and community impact. Her research explores teaching and learning, culturally relevant curriculum design, and the role of AI in education, with a focus on supporting historically overlooked communities.
Through research, consulting, and international presentations, Aya continues to translate theory into practice—earning multiple awards for her scholarship and service along the way.
