The SCC Clinton Center is a regional campus of Somerset Community College located in Albany, Kentucky. Clinton County is nestled in southern Kentucky close to the Kentucky-Tennessee border and is home to the Twin Lakes - Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland. We strive each day to provide the highest quality of higher education to the residents of Clinton County, as well as surrounding counties in

Cumberland County and Wayne County. The Clinton Center of Somerset Community College has been operational for many years in the same location at KY Highway 90 W amid the beautiful rolling hills of Clinton County, Kentucky. The SCC Clinton Center is a regional campus of Somerset Community College, a comprehensive community and technical college with the mission to provide quality, affordable, and accessible educational and training opportunities that address the needs of its citizens in southern Kentucky. The college offers students educational experiences and associated services through traditional campus-based and distance learning modalities that promote intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning and encourage aesthetic awareness and social responsibility. We offer academic, general education, and technical curricula leading to certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees; technical and occupational curricula designed to meet current and future workforce needs; a comprehensive program of remedial and developmental education; customized training to meet the changing needs of business and industry; adult and continuing education, as well as associated services including, but not limited to, library services, cultural and enrichment opportunities, information technology resources, and appropriate student support services. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide outreach for the WKU in Somerset campus, including in-person presentations and recruitment fairs and events; email, text, and phone communication to support students and promote student enrollment; pre-advise prospective students to provide a smooth transfer to WKU in Somerset.

Connect with local community colleges and other community partners to create WKU visibility in classrooms, at local events, and through outreach initiatives.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the student services available through WKU for Somerset campus.

Collaborate with WKU departments to maximize student support for WKU in Somerset students.

Create student activities and services tailored for a diverse group of students, including traditional, hybrid, and online students, adult learners, and placebound students.

Develop excellent personal relationships with WKU in Somerset students, colleagues, and the Somerset community, including new partnerships in the area and nurturing ongoing initiatives and serve on the campus task force leadership team.

Hire, supervise, and schedule campus student workers and part-time facilitators.
