Do you see a courtyard or a terrace or both in this optical illusion by Fusheng Tang?

As you start thinking about research topics, it's helpful to remember there are diverse points of view, different sources, and even a lot of conflicting "authoritative" opinions.

Consider using the Opposing Viewpoints database offered on the LBCC library homepage to get a broad overview of a topic so that you don't get blinded by your perspective or surprised by the opinions of others.

Reference librarians eagerly await your questions weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm & weekends from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Albany campus library
is open Saturday & Sunday
when classes are in session from 11 AM to 4 PM.

LBCC Library Celebrates National Poetry Month

In celebration of National Poetry Month the Library has several displays that we invite you to come in and enjoy.

In the front display case we have a selection of love poems "writ large". In the back display wall we have several poems by former LBCC Poet Laureates. Also back by the reading room is a display of poetry books you can check out.

In the front corner of the lobby, we are pleased to display Be-Longing - a collaboration between the Benton Center, the LBCC Poetry Club, the Corvallis Multicultural Center, and the local photography guild. It features color images of CMLC users created by the guild, ekphrastic poems by students and staff, combined as a way of honoring the history and people of the Corvallis Multicultural Center.
