FRATERNITY
Fraternity is a social experience based on the fundamental right of a free people to form voluntary associations. MUTUAL CHOICE
The young woman who wants fraternity experience will find it possible to belong on most campuses today. Fraternity membership is a social experience arrived at by mutual choice and selection. Fraternity membership is by invitation. FRATERNITIES EXIST BECAUSE THEY:
* Provide a good democratic social experience.
* Give value beyond college years.
* Create, through their ideals, an ever-widening circle of service beyond the membership.
* Develop the individual's potential through leadership opportunities and group effort.
* Fill the need of belonging. FRATERNITIES CONTINUE BECAUSE:
Young women feel a continuing need to belong. Parents appreciate fraternity values and standards and cooperate to make membership possible. College administrations, recognizing the values of fraternities, continue to welcome them on their campuses and to invite them to establish new chapters."

Hazing prevention goes beyond saying “these hands don’t haze.”

It means creating a Panhellenic community built on respect, safety, belonging, and accountability. Every member deserves to feel supported, valued, and safe throughout their experience. Educate yourself, look out for one another, and speak up when something doesn’t feel right. Together, we can continue building a stronger and safer Panhellenic community at UNM.

The Panhellenic council would like to announce their gift card raffle for women going through the process! We will be raffling off 7 gift cards to women before the activities of bid day!

Be sure to register for recruitment as the registration link is still open! For women going through the process, make sure to be at the SUB on time as we will be doing the raffle before bid day!

Scholarship Announcement!

The Panhellenic Council is excited to announce their Panhellenic Scholarship for 2026! This scholarship is open to anyone going through the primary recruitment process, and is a great opportunity to our potential new Panhellenic women!

Be sure to fill out the application after you have registered for Panhellenic Recruitment so you have a chance to be considered for one of the scholarships!

Getting closer to recruitment, many of you may have questions on what to wear! Here is a look book with suggestions on what to wear for each day! We put together ideas and guidelines for each day so you know how to dress while feeling comfortable and like yourself!

On top of the look book, we also have a suggested list for what you may want in your bag for recruitment!
