Last week we had the pleasure of hosting a faculty visit from Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS)! 🌎🇭🇺 Dr. Ákos Cserny, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs & Tennis Coach, and Orsolya (Orsi) Balog, Head of the Equestrian Sports where able to meet with several UNM faculty and visit UNM’s high altitude chamber! On their visit they also toured University Stadium! 🐺

The Global Education Office (GEO) and the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) are still accepting nominations for the Globally-Engaged Research Awards to highlight the dynamic international research conducted by UNM faculty and students. The deadline has been extended to Monday, March 10th! 🌏🗓️

Three awards will be given:

Faculty award ($5,000)
Graduate student award ($1,500)
Deborah Rifenbary Memorial Undergraduate Student Award ($1,000)

Nominations for the 2025 awards must be submitted via InfoReady by March 10th. Eligibility is limited to main and branch campuses. Apply @ the link in our bio!
