The UNM Honors College offers a rich and diverse interdisciplinary curriculum taught by some of the best faculty, with exceptional opportunities for individual learning and serious thinking. We aim to provide distinctive opportunities for students who show promise of outstanding academic achievement and to do this so well that our graduates are competitive with the best students of any college or university. The excellent instruction and individual attention of our Honors College create the benefits of a first-rate, small liberal arts college atmosphere within a progressive research university setting. We strive to produce a body of graduates who are well-educated, socially conscious, and capable of assuming leadership roles in our society.

You’re invited! 🎉 Join the University of New Mexico Alumni Association Honors College Chapter for an evening of reconnecting, celebrating, and recognizing members of our Honors community.

The evening will include recognition of Distinguished Alumni, Young Alumni, and Distinguished Service award recipients, a silent auction benefiting Scribendi Magazine, and an opportunity to meet Dean Naomi Yavneh Klos.

Every student who comes to UNM arrives with a story and the possibility of writing what comes next. For some, a scholarship makes that first day possible. For others, it is the mentor who sees their potential, the graduate fellowship that allows them to pursue an idea, or the experience that changes the direction of their life. Our responsibility is to make sure talent can become achievement. Because when a student succeeds, that success reaches beyond a diploma. It strengthens families,
communities and generations.
