Join us for an exciting workshop in New York next Thursday at AADOCR!

Effective scientific communication is crucial for sharing complex information with diverse audiences. Without proper communication tools, scientists often struggle to highlight the significance of their work and its potential impact on human health. This Hands-on Workshop, aimed at trainees (e.g., dental, graduate, dual-degree students, post-docs) and early-stage faculty, focuses on refining scientific pitches for basic and clinical research, as well as public policy topics. Expert speakers will share strategies to bridge gaps between researchers and the public, combat misinformation, conduct impactful research, and build successful collaborations. Participants will also practice crafting and delivering their scientific elevator pitches in small group discussions. These pitches are valuable for networking, job interviews, and conference presentations. Attendees will leave with enhanced skills to effectively share their research.
