Dear LSUA Faculty, Staff, Students, Student Organizations, and Community Members,

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, LSUA Student Life invites our campus and surrounding community to come together for UNITED: A 9/11 Evening Walk of Remembrance on Friday, September 11, 2026. UNITED is an evening of remembrance, reflection, and togetherness. Through a 2,977 step memorial walk (the number of lives lost on September 11, 2001), we will remember the lives forever changed, honor the courage and service of so many, and reflect on the unity and compassion that brought people together following September 11.

We invite students, faculty, staff, student organizations, families, friends, and community members to participate. Walk individually or alongside your organization, department, team, family, or friends as we come together as one community. As a special commemoration of the 25th anniversary, the first 60 participants to cross the finish line will receive a limited UNITED 9/11 Challenge Coin.

Interested in technology, innovation, or entrepreneurship? The T.E.C (Technologists, Entrepreneurs, and Creators) Guild may be for you!

The T.E.C Guild is a student organization that promotes interest and knowledge in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship among LSUA students. The organization is here to create a learning environment that challenges students on campus to learn new skills through the use of 3-D printing, CNC machining, robotics, and more!

Join us for the first T.E.C. Guild meeting on Friday, September 4 from 12-2 PM! See you there!
