Hello Parents and Family!

We understand how stressful housing changes can be, especially during extreme weather. To clarify a misunderstanding, Alfred State is consolidating housing, not closing a residence hall. This adjustment is to better support student safety and connection.

Flexibility is available, and Residential Life staff are working directly with students to review individual circumstances, provide support, and assist with move coordination as needed. Students are encouraged to contact Residential Life at 607-587-4371 so individual concerns can be addressed.
