Southern California Startup Introduces World’s First ‘Demand Clearing House,’ Giving California Flexible Ways to Manage Plug-In EV Charging Based on ISO 15118 Standard Oxygen Initiative becomes the first data platform company to receive an official Certificate of System Conformance from the OpenADR Alliance for its’ Demand Clearinghouse. The demand clearing house (DCH), Oxygen Initiative’s technology engages plug-in EV batteries in managing variable electric grid conditions. This innovation mitigates generation oversupply and other challenges attaining California’s goal of decarbonizing the state’s electricity sector.
