Our seminar series this year is focusing on women through the ages. In September we learned about Amelia Simmons (author of the 1st American cookbook & inventor of the cupcake). October brought the Gilded Age & how women had to navigate social status to achieve goals. Next up in November - female spies! Stay tuned for December (with honored guests).

are the future! 🩺⚕️❤️ Last week, WLMP students attended an educational discussion and tour of Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation.

Students learned about how MWRI is helping solve real-world problems and impacting the future of . They heard from Executive Director Yoel Sadovsky, MD, and CEO Michael Annichine, toured the MWRI laboratories, and learned about MWRI’s transformative research directly from the researchers.
