The GVSU exercise science webpages have been redesigned so hopefully they are easier to navigate and find relevant information, whatever format you are viewing them! We will be adding to the images, news stories, events, and spotlights throughout the year, so keep dropping in regularly to keep updated with happenings in the program. Please take a look, give us some feedback, and also remember to mention the program and the webpages to anyone whom might be interested!

The exercise science major is designed to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of how and why the human body responds to a single bout or regular bouts of physical activity or exercise.

MOV 321 Exercise Testing Lab Class
We are looking to staff two sections of MOV 321 in the winter semester. The two sections are at 1-1:50 pm and 2-2:50 pm. The instructor needs to have their B.S. degree and preferably ACSM certification. You would be mentored by the current MOV 321 faculty. Each section is 2 credits, so you would receive adjunct faculty compensation that starts at $700/credit. If you are interested, please email Dr. Ross Sherman ([email protected]).
