Fishladder is in the world! The unveiling was a little different this year, attended only by Professor Huey and his cats (they were disappointed the boxes included no actual fish).

When we are cleared to return to campus, copies will be available in the Writing Department office in Lake Ontario. And if possible, we will mail copies to editors and contributors.

Congratulations to all the students involved for putting out a beautiful edition of the journal.

Dispatches from the End of Ice

Congratulations to WRT prof Beth Peterson, whose debut essay collection, DISPATCHES FROM THE END OF ICE, is officially out! Donovan Hohn, author of Moby Duck, says of Peterson’s book: “Following the trails Peterson maps, you don’t so much find your way to and from the northern latitudes as get lost in them along with her—lost in a way that makes you look around in wonderment, gratitude, and grief. ”
