As our first-year OTD students wrapped up their final simulation of the semester, they reflected on just how far they’ve come. These notes tell the story—from uncertainty and anxiety during their first simulation to confidence, growth, and resilience in their last.

Our OTD students had the opportunity to learn from a guest COTA speaker, gaining valuable insight into the collaborative relationship between Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Experiences like these help bridge classroom learning with real-world practices!

Out students learned about oncology, the role of OT in cancer care, and gained hands-on experience with lymphedema therapy.
