Muhlenberg College Office of Community Engagement engages students, employees and local communities through partnerships intended to catalyze personal, institutional, and community change.

The Office of Community Service & Civic Engagement strives to:

-Connect Muhlenberg and Allentown communities in meaningful, deep partnerships aimed at creating change

-Facilitate individual understanding of social identities, civic engagement and communities

-Enhance our communities’ ability and desire to critically analyze, learn, and dialogue about important social justice issues

“Saadat worked with the Allentown Ecumenical food bank all of last semester. When the student coordinator had to step down, Saadat stepped in. She got trained to drive the OCE vehicles and volunteered to serve as coordinator for the program. She recruited new students to voliunteer, and has been a valuable help to the food bank.“
