We’re kicking off October and Domestic Violence Awareness Month with our 1st ever Driving Out Domestic Violence Golf Outing on Sunday, October 1st!! All proceeds from the event will go directly to our local Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter. Sign ups will be open on our website to everyone until this Thursday, Sept. 21! "My name is Cassidy and I love Alpha Chi. Before I joined AXO I really didn't like Mount Union all that much. I had trouble making friends, and I didn't feel like I fit in anywhere on campus. Going through the formal recruitment and joining Alpha Chi Omega was the best decision I have made. Alpha Chi was so welcoming when I first joined. My new sisters (at the time) made me feel at home not only with them, but on campus as well. This group of girls have so many different strengths and talents and I now can't imagine a day without them by my side. I'm proud to be a sister of Alpha Chi Omega"

Alpha Chi Omega is the biggest blessing I've encountered since enrolling at Mount Union. Our constant drive to seek the heights, the encouragement to reach our personal potential, and our amazing sense of sisterhood are some of our many qualities that truly set us apart. Alpha Chi has lead me to meet so many incredible and important people in my life, like my incredible big, Amber. I know you hear so many cliches about big little relationships but ours certainly is unique. I can come to her and all my other sisters and truly say no one will judge me no matter how ridiculous it is. There's always someone down for TBell at 2 am, and honestly what more could you ask for. AXO has presented me with so many leadership opportunities, like running for an executive position as a freshman, which is something I never would've seen myself doing six months ago. I am so excited to continue my journey as an Alpha Chi because ... you know .... it's the best …

"Hi everyone, my name is Hannah Ferguson, aka Fergie or Ferg according to my teammates. I just recently joined Alpha Chi Omega as a sophomore in the Spring. As an incoming freshman my preview guide was Rosie Morrison, who just recently graduated and is now an alum of Alpha Chi. She asked me to go through recruitment and everything else, but I thought she was weird and sororities were expensive so I didn't do it. Then about a year and a half later and after a lot of discussion with my parents and peers I decided to join this weird bunch of girls, and it was the best decision I've made thus far. After joining I got a lot of criticism for being a girl of color and joining a majority white sorority, "why did you join a white sorority?", "those letters don't look right on you", "you didn't want to be in a divine nine?". I joined Alpha Chi because I wanted to help be an example for other girls of color to push past societal boundaries, and to be leaders. I also joined because of the love, kindness and acceptance that was given to me, even before I got a bid. Alpha Chi girls are also the best! A little bit more about me, well I'm super competitive and love to do anything outside and active. I also am obsessed with HGTV and my dream job would be an Interior Designer. I also love to craft and just hang out with my friends. My basic information is that I'm a junior, majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Intervention Specialist. Some things I'm apart of on campus is the BSU, Spectrum Education Center, and I'm an athlete. Hope you enjoyed my story!"
