According to the American Heart Association: “Every minute, a Woman loses her life to cardiovascular disease, and heart disease remains the number one killer of Women in the U.S., accounting for 35% of deaths globally.”

💙 Cardiovascular disease kills over 50,000 African American Women annually
💙 49% of African American Women age 20 and older have heart disease
💙 Only 1 in 5 believe she is personally at risk
💙 Only 52% are aware of signs and symptoms of a heart attack
💙 Only 36% know that heart disease is her greatest health risk
