The Nu Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu at Iowa State University

The Nu Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu at Iowa State University HKN is an honors society at Iowa State University for students studying Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineering, and Computer Science.

Over the past 100 years, HKN has acknowledged students who go above in beyond, not only in their academic lives but also in society. Although the chapter recognizes these students, HKN has a much broader purpose. HKN strives to be a helping h

and throughout the community while fostering character and leadership within each member. Thus, our chapter runs a help room for students in our majors in addition to other community service projects throughout the semester. Due to our dedication to improving the lives of those around us, we have won the Outstanding Chapter Award for 7 years in a row.
