Great research deserves an audience.

The PP Systems Innovator’s Travel Award helps students and postgraduate researchers using PP Systems instrumentation offset the cost of traveling to a scientific conference to present their accepted research.

Scientific conferences give researchers an opportunity to share new findings, exchange ideas, make valuable connections and bring greater visibility to the work happening in their labs and universities.

If you are using PP Systems instrumentation in your research and have an accepted abstract to present, we would like to hear about your work.

Know a student or postgraduate researcher who may qualify? Please share this opportunity with them.

It is the final day of , and we are not done yet.

If CIRAS-4 has been on your must-see list, today is your last opportunity to try it in person.

Light to carry, fast to respond, and easy to learn and use, CIRAS-4 is designed to keep photosynthesis measurements moving wherever the research takes you.

We also have HandyPEA at the booth for rapid chlorophyll fluorescence measurements.

Stop by Booth #1 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., talk research with us, see the instruments, and pick up some final-day swag while supplies last.

We’re at and have been enjoying learning about the questions, discoveries, and ideas driving your research.

Stop by Booth #1 and tell us: What is your research shedding light on?

You can also explore the CIRAS-4 and HandyPEA, and pick up some fun conference swag. A select few visitors may even leave our booth shining a little brighter ☺.

WEBINAR TOMORROW! What happens when carbon-rich soils warm?

In a long-term field study, researchers observed higher CO₂ release under warming conditions but no measurable loss in soil carbon.

So where is that carbon coming from?

This webinar explores the complex relationship between warming, plant activity, and soil stability.

As global temperatures rise, one of the biggest questions in climate science remains:

How will warming impact soil carbon storage?

In this webinar, researchers share findings from a ~10-year field warming study in Tasmania’s Central Highlands examining how organic soils respond to sustained warming of ~2°C above ambient conditions.

The results showed:
• Increased soil CO₂ efflux under warming
• No measurable decline in soil organic carbon
• No significant change in soil structural stability

These findings challenge simple assumptions about warming-driven carbon loss and point to the importance of plant–soil interactions and carbon cycling dynamics.

Join us as we explore the data, methodology, and implications for soil carbon research under climate change.

WEBINAR | Temperature plays a central role in grapevine development. Turning that data into meaningful predictions is where the real challenge lies.

In this upcoming webinar, Rizwan Rafique will present how Growing Degree Days (GDD) can be used to:

• Model grapevine phenology across the growing season
• Quantify physiological responses to temperature
• Predict fruit quality at harvest
• Improve crop modeling and experimental interpretation

Build deeper insight with this innovative research.
