Sigma Chi at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Sigma Chi on the UMass Campus In 2016 a group of students contacted headquarters with the hope of bringing a chapter of Sigma Chi to UMass Amherst.

Sigma Chi is a Fraternity with roots in the collegiate experience that engenders a lifelong commitment to strive to achieve true friendship, equal justice and the fulfillment of learning. Sigma Chi is dedicated to developing, implementing, and monitoring programs that foster leadership, build character, and promote positive relationship skills that, in turn, enable its members to become productive

and caring participants in their families, colleges, and communities. The colony grew to include 60+ members from different backgrounds hoping to create a brotherhood that would positively impact campus and community. After almost three years of hard work, the colony received its charter on December 2, 2017 officially becoming the Mu Epsilon Chapter.
