Phi Alpha (ΦA) Honor Society: Rho Kappa (PK) Chapter

National Social Work Honor Society, University at Buffalo Chapter The constitution and formal organization was completed in 1962. (www.phialpha.org)

The Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society was developed by a group of undergraduate social work students at Michigan State University beginning in 1960 and grew in conjunction with an existing local chapter at Florida State University. The six original charter chapters of the organization were at Florida State University, Michigan State University, Ohio North University, Central State Colle

ge, University of Dayton, and the University of Tennessee. Over 380 local chapters are currently in existence, with the addition of new chapters continuing.
