Assistant Professor Hallie Bahn's work will be featured as part of Imaginary Friends, an exhibition at APE Gallery in Northampton, curated by Alexandra Ripp and Daniel Sack (Odradek Projects)

An installation of art for all ages that fosters rigorous collaboration between parents and their children. Taking seriously the creative potential of children's play, a group of local adult artists experiment with making art in partnership with younger artists aged 1-12.

Wounds We Wear

From May 18 to June 20, 2026, artist Mahwish Chishty will be at OOO (Out of Office) to develop a new body
of work called Wounds We Wear.
Wounds We Wear asks viewers and participants to consider their relationship to U.S. war
technology and its current wars, including by designing and/or embroidering patches.
Chishty will incorporate these collectively-made patches into the installation at the center
of her fall 2026 solo exhibition at the Herter Art Gallery at the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst.

PUBLIC EVENTS
Embroidery/Sewing Circles: May 29-June 1, 2026, 10 am - Noon.
Open Studio: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 4-6 PM.

Come work alongside Chishty and embroider patches that will become part of Wounds We
Wear. You are welcome to come for one or multiple sessions. Experience in embroidery is
encouraged but not necessary to participate.

It is with great excitement that I invite you to the exhibition of my BFA thesis show at UMass Amherst. This one-day-only event is the culmination of my studies, combining my ceramic work and floral design practice into a unique gallery experience that you won't want to miss.

2025 alum Michelle Mott's thesis film, Beyond the Grave, was accepted into the Easthampton Film Festival , happening this week. It was actually selected to be a part of two of the programs! Congrats !
