Our own Rob Wick, Emeritus Professor of Plant Pathology and Diagnostics, has published a fantastic compendium of herbs with beautiful photos. It's no wonder UMass is #1 in Agricultural Sciences nation-wide.

Diagnosing disease issues in herb crops? “Compendium of Herb Diseases and Pests,” edited by Robert L. Wick, Angela M. Madeiras, and Richard N. Raid, compiles comprehensive information on diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, oomycetes, viruses, and nematodes, along with arthropod and mollusk pests and abiotic disorders affecting herb crops.

With 242 photographs illustrating symptoms and damage, this compendium helps diagnosticians compare field observations with reliable visual references to support identification and decision making. You, or your library, can buy it here: https://my.apsnet.org/APSStore/APSStore/Product-Detail.aspx?iProductCode=47212
