December 1 is Giving Tuesday. 2020 has been a trying year, especially for our low income college students and those who have experienced homelessness and food insecurity. In the spirit of giving, consider donating a few dollars to the Student Care and Emergency Response Fund, and/or ordering a few items from the Student Supply Closets Amazon wish list to help the Dean of Students Office replenish for Spring 2021. Your donation will help support UMass Amherst students in financial need and your generosity will greatly enrich their college experience!

So, I'm finding these dates a little confusing: "All other students will make a Move-In Reservation in SPIRE January 11 - January 15, and will be emailed by January 7 with instructions. "
Hi, This Noam Grebler I am co-founding a mental health tech start-up looking to support college student mental health. Our team just got into the NYU accelerator program and our current goal is to better understand the problem. I wanted to ask if you know any of student or university mental health professional who would be open to have a quick 20-minute chat? Our goal is to speak with to college students who have either: - Struggled with mental health - Been involved in helping other students struggling with their mental health - Are familiar with the mental health ecosystem within universities. I would so appreciate their perspective, wisdom, and experience to help guide our efforts. I am available to speak at any point in the upcoming 2 weeks, as we are prioritizing these interviews. I promise it will be brief AND interesting. If you are willing to help us please let me know what times work for you or them or you/they can directly schedule a call here: https://calendly.com/greblernoam/mental-health-in-college-campuses Kindly, Noam
Son having car issue. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the area.

If anyone is interested or knows someone who is feel free to contact me to discuss further details thank you.
Apartment in Amherst near Puffers Pond, Good size room with walk in closet. 3 other roommates & 1 dog for Spring semester and at most $700 a month with utilities. My son has decided to move home due to being completely online again Spring semester. We were hoping for in person classes. Anyone interested please PM me.

I'm curious about the status of the renovation/construction of the Student Union. Is this still underway? I understand that CoVid delayed the completion which as I recall was originally planned for the fall of 2020. It would be wonderful if it was finished by the fall of 2021 when I expect students will be returning to campus again.
Does anyone know if there are any rules related to how long a professor can take to return an assignment to a student?
Can you help me get through to a live human being at financial aid? Their phone number is now disconnected, and they don't respond to emails in a timely fashion.
Does the University still have a yearbook? It was called the The Index. Granted I graduated a “few” years ago but curious if the Index was still published.
If your child is a senior graduating this coming Spring-do we fill out FaFSa? I’m having a senior moment!
Thank you for putting together the virtual weekend, for the sweatshirts (I wore all weekend), couldn't participate in everything, but the yoga, the great performances, (and photo contest; yay!) Go U Mass, be safe everyone.
