The new Carney Family Auditorium in Furcolo Hall at UMass Amherst was officially unveiled to the public at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 25. The new auditorium will enable the College of Education to host classes, speakers, and professional development workshops for in-service teachers!

The Champions Center, completed in August 2015, has finally achieved LEED GOLD certification! Congratulations to our own Cleve Carrens and everyone who worked so diligently to make this a high performance facility. Our campus now has a total of 14 LEED Certified buildings that account for almost 1.4 Million GSF!
The 55,000 SF John Francis Kennedy Champions Center provides dedicated practice and training facilities for the UMass Men's and Women's basketball teams, and serves as the home for intramural basketball championships.
