A reminder that as a UMass student you have access to free testing!

Living off campus in the Amherst area? This is your official reminder to get tested twice a week.

Asymptomatic tests are free, available M-F, offered via drive-through or right in Mullins, and can be scheduled through the Campus Health Hub. Parking at Mullins is free, too.

The work of planning for the spring semester is under way, and the next several weeks may play a significant role in shaping the decisions we make. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe.

More info on testing: umass.edu/coronavirus/covid-19-testing.

Thank you Student Parent Programs for the AMAZING Kiwi Crate! We had so much fun making the claw and this arcade game. It inspired lots of thinking about simple machines and other creative games. Sasha invented one where you have to use your toes!😂
Hope other families enjoyed theirs too!!

Hi student parent colleagues and friends. Wanted to drop a quick recommendation for an awesome preschool our little one attended last year - Farm Hands Preschool in Northampton. They re-opened during the summer with new health and safety protocols and our kiddo couldn't have been happier to return to this wonderfully nurturing, supportive, diverse, fun, mostly outdoors (!!) preschool. If you're looking for childcare (full or part-time) this semester please contact their director Alya Stoffer ([email protected]) or feel free to connect with me if you'd like more info. I believe they have some positions available for the fall. Also, we got a childcare grant from UMass Student Parent Programs which helped enormously, so Farm Hands is already in the UMass system. Hope this can help another family as much as it helped us :-) (Photo of our kiddo on her last day at Farm Hands...the smile says it all!!)
