November 20 — Dr. Rob Zellem
Astrophysicist | Virtual Guest Speaker
Dr. Zellem will be joining us virtually to talk about the Nancy Grace Roman Telescope and its mission to explore our universe.

November 27 — Kayla Andersen
Mechanical Engineer | In-Person Guest Speaker
Kayla Andersen will be joining us in person to talk about the Perseverance Rover and Skyfall.

📍Both events will be hosted in person on campus at the Atwood Center

Were back!

Sarah Williamson is a master’s student in Environmental Science at Alaska Pacific University with the Fisheries, Aquatic Science, and Technology (FAST) lab where her research focuses on how temperature influences host-pathogen interactions in Pacific Herring.

She will be presenting how temperatures can create a trade off between viral replication and viral inactivation.

Dr.Scheel studies the ecology and evolution of predator-prey relations and habitat use. His the author of “Many things under a rock” discussing his life long work on researching octopuses.

His presentation is “Octopuses in domestic and wild relationships”
