Audition to study at the SCSA Conservatory of Music at Anderson University!

Our audition day has been carefully planned to give you a glimpse of what it's really like to major in music at AU. You'll have the opportunity to meet current students, work with our faculty, explore the Conservatory, and even attend a concert.

You can audition on any of our audition dates, but you may want to choose a date that gives you a chance to experience an ensemble or event connected to your area of study:
Nov. 13--Commerical Music Concert
Dec. 4--Christmas First Night
Feb. 12--Festival of Keys
Feb. 26--Anderson Symphony Orchestra
Mar. 19--AU Voice Day
April 16--President's Gala.

Results are in! Eight students from the South Carolina School of the Arts advanced to the semifinals of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Student Auditions and three placed within the top 3 students in the nation! Jacob Sabella won first place in the Music Theater Upper Post-HS tbb category. Abigail Knight took third in Commercial Music Lower Post-HS treble. And, D’Andre Hicks placed third in the Commercial Music Upper Post-HS tbb competition. Jacob, Abigail, and D’Andre are students of Dr. Seth Killen and were accompanied by Mrs. Janice Wright.

Voice students from the Conservatory of Music have landed in Texas to compete in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Student Auditions. This progressive, year-long competition begins at the state level and proceeds through three levels until the top 15 singers in each category from around the nation are invited to compete at the national conference. We celebrate the discipline and dedication it has taken for these students to make it here. Let’s cheer them on as they compete!
