DMACC Celebration of Literary Arts

DMACC Celebration of Literary Arts The Annual Celebration of Literary Arts at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) was launched in 2003 in conjunction with the National Poetry Festival.

The event brings noted writers to DMACC to read from their work and to interact with students.

Just announced yesterday! Kaveh Akbar is nominated for the National Book Award and will be coming to DMACC's Lit Fest on Monday, followed by an evening reading at Beaverdale Books...details below...free copies of Martyr! will be handed out while supplies last!!
