Processing calves in farm labs this week. First year students were able to vaccinate and castrate in Survey of the Animal Industry. Second year students performed walk throughs several days later and noted any issues to manage in Animal Health class.

Students are planting plots in Principles of Agronomy lab! Wait... planting?
Yes! Students are not at the DMACC farm during the spring planting season as they are off on internships. In order to show them emergence and early season growth, we plant small plots in the fall for classroom use.
